Apple still lets you install some older (now unsigned) iOS/iPadOS/tvOS/macOS versions via special delayed OTA profiles — super useful for downgrades, beta-to-stable jumps, or avoiding forced updates.
If you have an older iOS version like iOS 15, 16, or 17 (device bypassed) and you want to update to iOS 26:
Download the profile and enjoy — you can update to iOS 26.1. ( DEVICES ACTIVATED ONLY )
Important recommendation before updating:
Before doing any update, it’s highly recommended to remove your iPhone passcode and disable/undo any Fake Reset modifications.
This helps avoid potential issues during the update process and ensures you can still restore the device using Apple Configurator iOS if needed.

Check real-time availability + expiration dates here: https://dhinakg.github.io/delayed-otas.html
Examples right now (as of late Jan 2026): • iOS 26.1 → expires ~March 12, 2026 • iOS 18.7.1 → expires ~Feb 3, 2026 • macOS Tahoe 26.1 & Sequoia 15.7.2 also still good for a while
Data refreshes every 30 min. Expiration dates are estimates — Apple can pull anytime. Install profiles on the day you plan to update!
