How to Block iOS Updates Using an iPhone Profile for Free: No Need for Any Tool.
If you’re waiting for a jailbreak release and don’t want your device to update to a patched firmware, you can easily block iOS updates by installing the tvOS 26 Beta Profile. This simple trick keeps your device on its current firmware until you decide otherwise.
Why Block Updates?
Apple frequently patches exploits in new iOS versions, which can make it impossible to use on newer firmware. By blocking updates, you ensure that your device stays on the lowest compatible version to bypass.
Installing the tvOS Profile

Follow these steps directly on your iPhone or iPad:
- Open this link in Safari : https://t.me/my_icloudinfo/3355 ( download profile )
- Tap Allow when prompted.
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to General > Profile (or Profile & Device Management, depending on your iOS version).
- Select the tvOS Beta Profile you just downloaded.
- Tap Install.
- Enter your passcode if prompted.
- Tap Install again to confirm.
- Tap Install one more time.
- Restart your device when prompted.
Once your device restarts, updates should be blocked. To confirm, go to Settings > General > Software Update. If it says “iOS is up to date,” you’ve successfully blocked updates.
Uninstalling the tvOS Profile
If you want to allow updates again, you’ll need to remove the profile:
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to General > Profile (or Profile & Device Management).
- Select the tvOS Beta Profile.
- Tap Remove Downloaded Profile.
- Restart your device.
⚠️ Warning: Once you remove the profile, your device may update to the latest firmware. This could prevent you from jailbreaking/bypassing iCloud if the new version has patched existing exploits.
